Crafted from 100% cowhide leather, the upper gradually molds to the shape of the foot over time, creating a fit that becomes more personal with wear. It is finished with a custom non-slip rubber sole for everyday stability. Its lineage also speaks to a broader history of sandals in postwar America, when Japanese geta and zori brought home by soldiers helped shape the modern flip-flop and sandal culture that followed.
