Cut from tea-core vegetable-tanned horsehide with a pigment finish, the leather features a brown core beneath its deep black surface — subtly revealing warmth and patina over time in zones of wear.The lining is quilted nylon, intentionally selected in a nuanced off-black tone to age and shift with wear, just as historical models did.

The updated BJ21101 pattern maintains vintage proportion and structure, with three-dimensional sleeves and improved front/back balance to avoid an overly tight fit. Details such as Talon zippers, D-pocket configurations, brass dot buttons, and period-accurate hardware complete the design down to its roots.
